FS25_achzarit_apc

The Achzarit is a heavily armored personnel carrier (APC) used by the Israel Defense Forces. It was developed by converting captured Soviet-made T-54 and T-55 tank hulls into personnel carriers.

Technical and Operational Characteristics

• Origin and Design: The vehicle is the result of removing the original tank turret and significantly modifying the chassis to create a rear troop compartment. This conversion provides the vehicle with a high level of ballistic protection, far exceeding that of standard APCs.
• Armor and Protection: Designed specifically for urban warfare and high-intensity conflicts, the Achzarit is considered one of the most heavily armored APCs in existence. Its armor is designed to withstand a wide range of anti-tank weapons.
